Healthy Holiday Mocktails: Festive Alcohol-Free Drinks for Thanksgiving and Christmas
Four festive alcohol-free holiday mocktails with cranberry, pomegranate, raspberry pear, and orange ginger flavors.

Let’s be honest—holiday gatherings usually come with plenty of things to sip. There’s wine at Thanksgiving, champagne at Christmas, and at least one mystery punch somebody’s cousin insists you try.

But what if you want something festive without the alcohol?

Maybe you’re driving home. Maybe you don’t drink. Maybe you’re trying to make healthier choices. Or maybe you’d just rather remember every questionable dance move at the family party.

Whatever your reason, holiday mocktails are the answer.

They’re colorful, refreshing, easy to make, and festive enough to hold their own next to any fancy cocktail.

And because I love sharing a good resource, I’ve included a free cookbook with 24 mocktail recipes you can enjoy during the holidays and beyond.

Why Holiday Mocktails Belong at Your Table

A great holiday drink shouldn’t require alcohol to feel special.

With ingredients like fresh cranberries, sparkling water, citrus, mint, and rosemary, you can create beautiful drinks that look like they came from a fancy restaurant—without needing a degree in bartending.

Mocktails are perfect for family gatherings, guests who don’t drink, anyone driving home, and those who simply want something festive without the next-day regrets.

Besides, there’s something about a pretty glass, a few bubbles, and a sprig of rosemary that makes sparkling water feel like it dressed up for the occasion.

Directions:

  1. Place the mint leaves, 2 cranberries, honey, and lime juice in a small dish.
  2. Gently muddle everything together to release the flavors.
  3. Add the mixture to the bottom of an 8-ounce glass.
  4. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with crushed ice.
  5. Add sparkling water until the glass is nearly full.

  • 1 fresh pear peeled and sliced.

Ginger Mimosa

Ginger Mimosa: A bright, alcohol-free holiday drink made with orange juice, sparkling water, fresh ginger, and clementines.

Mimosas usually appear at brunch, but this alcohol-free version is welcome at breakfast, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas morning—or whenever you feel like adding a few bubbles to your day.

Fresh orange juice and ginger make it bright and refreshing, while sparkling water brings the festive fizz.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup fresh orange juice.
  • Sparkling water, to taste.
  • Ice, optional.
  • Fresh ginger slices.
  • Clementine slices for garnish.

Resource Wonder tip: Make a small pitcher for holiday brunch and let everyone garnish their own glass. It feels fancy without giving the host another full-time job.

Give Your Holiday Mocktail a Luminate Twist

If you’re anything like me, you appreciate a drink that brings a little something extra to the party.

One of my favorite ways to mix things up is with Juice Plus+ Luminate. Its bright citrus flavor makes it a natural fit for holiday mocktails—especially when you add fresh fruit and a few festive garnishes.

Here’s an easy way to dress it up:

  1. Prepare your Luminate according to the package directions.
  2. Pour it over ice in your favorite glass.
  3. Add a squeeze of fresh orange or lime.
  4. Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
  5. Admire your handiwork before the relatives ask you to make one for everyone else.

It’s a simple way to give an everyday drink a festive holiday makeover. No cocktail shaker, complicated instructions, or questionable mystery punch required.
